God of Pioneer - Season 1 - Summer 2026

📝 I want to play! How do I sign up?

You can even join in mid season and still have chance for top 8, just come on Tuesday and ask to join.

🤑 How much?

1 EUR additional to regular entry that goes to League Tip Jar that we will open for the playoff event 💪

🏆 Prizes

All the League Tip Jar money will buy a custom unique trophy made in Luxembourg (Mana Temple provided) and whatever is left will be spend most probably on boosters (Mana Temple provided).

• 3rd place: Green HeavyPlay 80 card Deckbox + possible Extras

How can I check my results?

What is Pioneer?

‍

• Non rotating format that uses standard legal sets only (no Modern Horizons and before 2025 released commander sets).
• Cardpool contains all sets released from 2012 onwards (starts with Return to Ravnica - RTR)

I don't have a deck but I'm interested - what to do?

‍

Come and say hi! If you are new, we will be more than happy to help you improve, build your first deck and get a hang of 1 vs 1 magic. A lot of us have some spare decks. Let us know on discord or whatsapp and we will organise something :)

If I buy my deck would it be relevant for long time?

‍

Yes! That's the biggest appeal of the format. It changes rather slowly, taking inspiration from standard and absorbing few cards every set, so you can build your deck and slowly learn and improve it for years to come. It is much more stable than standard so don't worry!

I have time but I'm afraid of competitive attitude, what's the point of joining if I can't win?

League is very casual, low commitment and new players welcoming! We are bunch of friendly people, just playing for good time while trying to do our best. After all it's just 1 eur more than regular event entry and your receive most of money spent on the entry back in form of store credit that you can use to buy singles for your deck or anything that is in the shop really.

I don't have much time, probably will make it to only 3 out of 6 events. Should I skip the league?

‍

Of course not! We only count 4 of your best results so if you do good in 3 you have great chances to qualify! Also it's just 1 eur more and your receive most of money spent on the entry back in form of store credit that you can use to buy singles for your deck or anything that is in the shop really.

Can I come and play but opt out from. the league?

‍

It's sad to hear but it is possible. Just pay for regular entry and jam some magic. If you decide on your 3rd event that you want to join just put your coins into the jar and we will add you to the standings (possible only until end of July so don't hesitate too much

I've heard that Pioneer is dead, what are you doing here?

‍

Let not WOTC tell you what to do. Besides - if you are not interested in big Pro Tour, World Champtionship events, why should you care? Just enjoy good company and wide open format.

‍

Also - WOTC included Pioneer in recent banning, opening the format to broader meta and also mentioned the format as coming back to competitive scene in 2027. This should spark more interest to play the format.
